If you've worked with me before, you'll know I'm not the biggest fan of ideas like portals. The New Age-ification of some very valid ancient concepts didn't really begin until the later 20th Century and in the age of TikTok it seems that any repetition of numbers or loose word association is enough to open another.
But ahead of next week's Jupiter Neptune alignment it certainly feels as if we're drifting into the mouth of just such a gate. The destination depends on which astrological energies you align yourself with now.
On Tuesday Venus enters Pisces not only joining Neptune and Jupiter in their home after leaving the chill of Aquarius for gentler waters but elevating the sign as a whole as her place of exaltation. Here, Venus returns to her oceanic origins, adrift on the foamy brine of oneiric desires. This is a Venus unafraid to dream, to create, to see the world as her own and shape it accordingly. Her glasses aren't necessarily rose-coloured--they're more the deep indigo of sovereign intuition which will be your greatest tool in the coming weeks.
If, that is, you can clear the red from your eyes. This is also a big week for Mars, who makes a stop alongside his fellow malefic Saturn just hours later. Any unfinished business from the past few years is likely to bubble to the surface this week, insisting on resolution even if the circumstances are out of your control. Mercury's sextile on Saturday reminds us that we may not be able to choose our situations but we can choose our mindset and that may make all the difference along the road to change.
This weekend I'll talk a bit more about some of the structures of choice and direction we revise this season and explore the 1st House connections we revisit throughout our lives.
